Nice quick batch of breads. Foccacia style, mini loaf, flat bread and oven bottom rolls. The last two were "baked" in a dry frying pan; I was feeling adventurous :-) All from the same initial dough, which was a basic white bread recipe with a few oats and stuff. And some gran padano cheese grated in. Probably why the crusts came out so brown.
The flat bread and little roll above it were done in a dry frying pan. Took just a few minutes on a medium heat...
Mmm salty
Few grilled courgettes with garlic, served with the foccacia style bread.
Food, glorious food... done my way. Pretence of perfection

You're alive!!! Nice bread ... I too am making focaccia today. Mine looks better than yours.
I'll make crackers next time then... ;-)
Too be honest I didn't set out to make focaccia (there's no olive oil in the mix), so I'd hope yours does look better!
You can bake in a frying pan? I wish I'd known that in the days before I had an oven and went around whining about all the things I couldn't make :)
Yes you can, specially the flat bread thing I made. I've seen Ray Mears (famous Brit survival expert) cook bread in an iron pot on a first. Heat from beneath and on top with a few burning logs...
uhoh... no blogging for a YEAR!? hope you're ok, NAZ!
Wow, that flew by. I'm still here :) Just tend to focus on getting out of the house rather than staying in and baking/creating wondrous extravagance :D
I want just put butter on this bread.. like a good french.. lol
I spent a few weeks last year living on French bread and butter. And a little wine ;) Marvellous stuff :)
