Four Cheese Pizza

Mozzarella di buffalo, crumbly goats cheese, dolcelatte and parmesiano.

Mmm mmm.

The dough was made from several different flours but it still came out quite well. I used Giorgio Locatelli's recipe, so a little milk and olive oil was added to the blend. Plus I put died oregano and basil into the hot water before mixing it into the flour mix.

It was also cooked on a pizza stone so it have a nice crisp bottom to it...

Luckily for me the pizza was soooo good it nearly made up for the loss of the FA Cup to Chavski... still, it can't take away the moment when... no, must put it behind me... &(&^%& %$$$£$ £%&^(#*)@(!!!!!!

Your pizza looks like a delicious amoeba of sorts. I see something in that shape, but I'm not exactly sure what? hehee

Okay so my lame joke did not work at all.. but it really does look good! I love the cheeses you chose.. did I see a lil spinach in there as well?

Well done! Sorry about the FA cup.

Uhmm.. whatsa FA cup? xoxo

lol amoeba is quite a good description really! it's not spinach, but the blue bits from the dolcelatte (which is a creamy blue cheese).

The FA Cup is a knock-out competition involving every football club in England (and some in Wales). We got all the way to the final only to loose it to a little known team from London.

It's good to see that I am not the only one who ends up with pizza in that shape :)

I can't think of anything to deal with defeat better than pizza.

And what a pizza!

Combination of cheeses sounds soooo good! Love home made pizzas (in any form/shape)

Cream P, defeat still tastes bitter. The lovely doughy crust helped though :-)

Brilynn, they work so well together too. Full of flavour and textures.

Baking soda, who wants a round pizza? Like, so done before!

Homemade Pizza is really the best and the pinnacle is topping it off with 4 cheeses. Rustic is good! LOL!
